I’m at 23/30 books read. Honestly surprised it is that many because I’ve felt a little overwhelmed by it lately.
My monthly favs:
- April: Heir of File by Sarah J. Maas – I started the Throne of Glass series last quarter and I’ve been slowly chipping through the books. This one was my favorite so far, maybe because I loved the intro into Faeries. Apparently a lot of people find this book boring?
- May: Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman – shoutout #obx-book-club, this book was so fun. The audiobook was hilarious. I’ll eventually continue this series.
- June: Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood – had to throw a cutesy lil romance into the mix; I loved The Love Hypothesis and this one was pretty good, too. Not perfect but cute!
- Notable mention: House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City) by Sarah J. Maas – taking a little break from TOG… I’m 1 hour away from completing it & just have to mention… wow crazy story. The graphic audio version is impressive.
Up next: get myself back on track with Throne of Glass, but a little fatigued. Starting Empire of Storms next.
And I really really need to work through my physical TBR (and not buy anymore books – shoutout bookoutlet sale).
