I absolutely love the official Bobcat ornament for 2013. Since my boyfriend and I both graduated at Texas State in 2013, it’s perfect for our Christmas tree!

I picked up this sign at Hobby Lobby for 50% off the $15 retail aka $7.50. Great deal, if you ask me. Currently, all of their Christmas decor is half off until they sell out. I decided to hang this sign on our front door, and I think it looks adorable!

My boyfriend, Jake, and I moved in together this past March after dating for about a year. I haven’t had a Christmas tree is years, since my parent’s stopped putting one up, so this is the first one I have had in a long time. We bought the tree at “At Home” aka Garden Ridge, and the ornament’s came from Hobby Lobby. The tree topper was found on Amazon, and this is the first time I can even remember having a tree topper. I think this style is pretty unique, as most people I know usually have a star or angel on theirs.
My best friend is graduating in 2 weeks and she has been freaking out about getting her Mortar Board decorated. Side note, we bought and decorated mine THE DAY BEFORE my graduation… irony? We stopped at Hobby Lobby today and picked up the above items. Here is the outcome:

I think it came out pretty awesome!
Here is an obligatory Thanksgiving day plate straight from my casa. It was yummy!
I found an awesome ClubW coupon on RetailMeNot, and was able to get a steal of THREE wine bottles for only $20, including shipping and tax. This would usually cost about $50. Holy crap, right?
Since I pretty much only drink Moscato type wines, I decided to branch out and try something new. I chose:
Reckless Optimism – a red
Little Sur – a chardonnay
So This Happened… – a white
Great deal if you ask me… Cheers!
Arrived to work with this on my desk! My work gave everyone a Starbucks Iced Coffee to enjoy… and one of my co-workers shared her Graze snacks with me! Great morning.
Another year under my belt – 24 in total. I had a great day with my boyfriend, Jake. We went to the Downtown Aquarium in Houston. A day looking at fishies is a fun day to me. We also ate at their restaurant which was delicious (as well as super expensive!). The waiter brought out this cupcake for me — well this was the SECOND cupcake, as the first one accidently was knocked over right before being given to me LOL sweet guy, went back and got a new one. All in all it was a fun experience, but mostly because I got to spend it with my man <3
I saw the ring above on pinterest about 5 months ago and immediately fell in love with it. The ring is vintage and is called “Prairie” and costs over two thousand dollars from Trumpet & Horn:

Prairie is a lovely antique Victorian era engagement ring made from 18kt yellow gold from the 1880’s. This unique and inexpensive engagement ring centers an Oval Cut natural ruby gauged at 5.05 mm x 3.41 x 1.76 mm weighing exactly 0.76ct. The navette shape setting is studded with sixteen Rose Cut diamonds throughout and finished with a simple 18k yellow gold shank. This ruby engagement ring is truly a one of a kind piece. This ring can be sized to fit.
I am absolutely in love with this style. Navette, sometimes referred to as ‘marquise,’ is French for “little boat”, because it resembles the hull of a sailboat.
Here are a few of my favorites:

And guess who else loves Navette vintage rings?

As well as Ashlee Simpson’s beautiful engagement ring from new fiance Evan Ross:

It has arrived! I received another Influenster VoxBox – this time it is the J’Adore VoxBox! I honestly expected it to be a little more “Parisian,” but it is more so for Valentine’s Day and not exactly a French thing haha! Anyway, check out the items below. I will try to review each individually in the coming days.
Disclaimer: I received these products to test for free through the Influenster VoxBox program.
Plant Nanny combines health with fun to remind you to drink water regularly. The cute plant keeps you company every day by living in your phone. In order to keep it alive and help it grow, you must give it water at certain periods of time.
The latest iPhone app I am obsessed with is Plant Nanny. It is currently avaliable for FREE on the Apple App Store, Android Google Play, and Windows Phone.
I always thought I drank a lot of water, but I was way wrong. Plant Nanny configures how much water your body needs daily based on your weight and body activity (mine is 117 oz of water). Every time you drink a glass of water, you also water your plant.
The first plant I grew was a Dandelion (above)!
Forget to drink water? No problem, Plant Nanny can send you periodic reminders (customizable).
I have found a lot of joy in watering my plants so that I keep them healthy and can watch them grow. Once you do grow a plant to maturation, the plant goes into your garden where it will gain seeds daily (the currency in the app) that can be used to purchase different plants or decoration.
